Prior to adding a new student to a district, always search for the student by clicking on Dashboard, and then using the Advanced Search function. Directions can be found in this Help Center article.
If a transfer student is in ADAPT, but attached to another district, the receiving district has two options for retrieving the student.
- Send a ticket to support.iep@4schools.net . Support will reach out to the sending district to request inactivation.
- Contact the sending district directly to request inactivation in ADAPT.
Once the student is inactivated, the receiving district can activate the student in ADAPT.
