To make mass changes in the student data, for example, updating their grades and buildings annually, we recommend using the Import From File to be efficient.
To get the current student data in ADAPT, go to
- Reports
- Export of Student Data
- Select the students' Placement District from the dropdown
- Click Create CSV
- A spreadsheet in CSV format will open with the ADAPT student data
- Make the necessary updates to the spreadsheet and save it
Note:
-The Resident District column uses the district's LEA number.
-The Placement School uses the school's LEA number - Go to Students
- Manage Students
- Select Import From File
- Select the Placement District
- Find the file on your computer
- OPTIONAL - update the parents data
- OPTIONAL - Attache the list of students being updated to specific staff member(s)
- Click Import
- The results of the import are listed by clicking on the date/time of the import below the blue Import button
